  • FREE Legal Advice:  A local attorney, who specializes in real estate, is on retainer and attends our monthly meetings to answer basic questions and provide guidance to our members for FREE. 

  • Representation & Advocacy in Government: CARPOA and its partners advocate for its members on the local, state, and federal levels concerning real estate related issues. Giving our industry a unified voice in every layer of government.

  • Resources and documents, including a state approved plain language lease:  Our lease was reviewed and approved by the State Attorney General's Office. We also have various other checklists, videos, newsletters, calculators, and other resources that are FREE for members only.

  • Membership in National Real Estate Investors Association (NREIA):  Your membership in CARPOA also grants you membership into NREIA, which is a federation made up of local associations or investment clubs throughout the United States. NREIA represents local investor associations, property owner associations, apartment associations, and landlord associations on a national scale. NREIA represents the interests of approximately 40,000 members across the U.S. As such, they are the largest broad-based organization dedicated to the individual investor. They provide a unified voice to our industry in Washington DC. Though our partnership with them, members can attend online real estate education courses and obtain PHP (Professional Housing Provider) Certification. They also help to negotiate national discounts for our members.    

  • Membership in the Pennsylvania Residential Owners Association (PROA): Your membership in CARPOA also grants you membership into PROA, which provides a unified voice for residential rental property owners in Pennsylvania state government. PROA provides full-time lobbying on legislative and government issues on behalf of its approximately 8,000 members who control over 100,000 rental units within the state. PROA helps to keep our members informed of legislative and regulatory issues that affect our industry.
